Witchcliffe Ecovillage

• 11 residential accommodation embedded network (electricity metering) community microgrids with the TESLA Powerpacks, and distributed 5kW, 8kW to 10kW solar inverters and 75 kW Tritium Community Electric Vehicle (EV) DC Fast Chargers.

• Element47 will deliver a total of 30 embedded networks for Witchcliffe comprising around 430 individual lots and 37 Western Power connections.

• Turn key metering and billing solution

  • 5 minute renewable energy and grid Peer to Peer (P2P) trading, settlement and periodical billing.

  • 45 million trades per annum recorded within Power Ledger uGrid’s P2P & Blockchain trading software, operated and managed by Element47.

• Holistic management and control of the Strata Companies distributed energy resources (DER) to leverage the greatest benefit for the whole community in line with the Western Australian Governments Distributed Energy Roadmap.

• Element47 will also be delivering the DER aggregation and microgrid management system through innovative IoT systems that will enable the connection of solar PV and batteries "behind the meter" to enter grid market and off market services such as the Year 2 Western Power Flexibility Services and generate new revenue streams for our clients.
